Aei Remasters

In 2010, Aei began remastering full albums, and sometimes single songs, of other artists. Patrick has gained more notoriety for his mastering than his own music; especially for his Keith Whitley material.

Patrick remastered both Life's Rich Pageant and Document before the official remaster released were announced, and a few R.E.M. fans do possess copies of these. When Aei attempted to upload them to Youtube, WMG had blocked them. Instead of wasting any time with deadends, Aei focused on the Keith Whitley catalog, and his favorite Glen Campbell albums.

Each remastered album has modified album art by Aei. His R.E.M. remasters do not feature the original covers at all.

Note: Patrick Aei does not "remix" music. Remastering is a process to make songs sound better.
